A practical TCF speaking preparation plan
With limited time, keep one focused retry rather than constantly starting new topics. Adjust this routine to your current level and schedule.

Platform practice method
A suggested 25-minute block
Use five minutes to understand the task, five to speak, five to check feedback against your words, five to retry and five for a new situation.
This is a self-study routine, not a change to exam timing. Reading a guide or preparing on paper does not require an AI voice session.
Platform practice method
Cover all three tasks
A possible week contains two interviews, two information exchanges, two opinion practices and a full mock when practical. Adjust frequency instead of treating a question quota as a universal rule.
Give a weak task extra retry time without abandoning the others. Practise organising familiar language after hearing a prompt, not just collecting new vocabulary.
Platform practice method
Remove support gradually
Begin with a purpose prompt, then keywords, then a different topic without help. Focus on one skill such as clarification or a relevant example.
A successful supported response and an independent unfamiliar response are different evidence. Keep them separate rather than treating repetition as level attainment.
Platform practice method
Review a mock exam
Check task completion and roles before smaller language points. The platform’s optional between-task pause is a practice convenience; paused and uninterrupted mock results should be distinguished.
Track one recurring issue using actual before-and-after wording. No number of practice days or vocabulary items guarantees B1, B2 or a pass.
Before you start
How can I improve fluency for TCF speaking?
Practise familiar word groups and a continuous message rather than speed alone. Retry a short response, remove support and change topic to check independence.
Does a TCF mock test predict an official score?
No. Practice feedback identifies observed difficulties. It is not an official assessment and does not guarantee a test result.
